The story : several associations located around the Canal de l'Ourcq have seized together the opportunity to transform a wasteland located under the arches of the little belt. It has become a collective adventure: to create a place anchored locally, capable of connecting the inhabitants and supporting their cultural and food projects, combining conviviality and professional springboard. A canteen café, a place of culture, and a kitchen shared by the inhabitants are being implemented during this first phase of work. To transform these abandoned places, the architects of the Scop Grand Huit supported the collective in defining their needs and devising an ecological architecture mainly built with recycled, organic, and geosourced materials and actors from the social and solidarity economy.
